Cleanup Continues Raritan Bay

Went out yesterday with friend Joe,trolling stripers. Limit by 8:30 (16 -18 lbs). Coming back in we saw the cleanup continues with a large container being lifted off the bottom just south of the triangle.The barge was loaded!

Saw that same barge and crane 1/2 mile off of Keansburg peer yesterday.

I saw some side scan images on another forum of the sunken Old Orchard light. The guy that posted it, did not say what the relationship of the wreck to the base was. He did say it was 4ft below the surface. I don't know what tide that was on, but it is constantly submerged. It would be nice to know what side it lays on.
I've caught a lot of porgies, sea bass and blackfish on Old Orchard over the years. It should be even better, with a big new piece of structure there. Art. . . |
