Anyone ever use these before? look like the old shrimps with a cray tail?

Nope - but have seen my share of mantis shrimp in the bellies of bass...

same here and flukes,croakers,kingfish,tog,triggerfish,lings,sea bass prety much everything thats here inthe summer sans bluefish!

Most of the ones I've seen in fluke are longer 5-6".

I've done very well with fluke the GULP Shrimp and Ghost Shrimp and see no reason why this wouldn't work just as well.

I think they will work well, especially in the Sandy Hook/ Raritan Bay. I have had good luck with the ghost shrimp gulps.
