With the dismal flounder reports as of late we went on a hunch and found them. Had 30 fish to the boat in just about 2 hours only keeping our limit.biggest was 19 inches. Will be back at it in the a.m..

Re: Flounder Poundin!
No worries about being over our limit. There were actually 2 boats involved in this catch. The only picture taken on the water was the one you see which was a double header and that is why the pic was taken. 3 guys in each boat basically anchored up stern to stern. Next time I will be a little more specific. I'll even let you know what we had for lunch. Most likely flounder sammies.

Re: Flounder Poundin!
I've seen 5 in a row boat each fishing 2 poles
But since you are offering more info What body of water were you fishing? Was any bait out producing? Plain hooks or grubs? Chum? Corn? Which 2 hours of the day? Tide? Brand of Beer or soda? |
Re: Flounder Poundin!
Sam Adams and I got so drunk I forget the rest of the info you are asking about. Anyway, in all seriousness before I get labeled a resident dick on here, we were north and it was bare basics for flounder fishing. Chum, sands and plain hooks. We didn't even drag the anchors or get into any of the other flounder techniques. Just think a little different this year. These fish were not in any kind of well pronounced hole.
