Yesterday I went out on Tagged Fish with Capt Chad. He was not very optimistic after having poor fishing on his last outing, almost a week earlier. Unfortunately the fishing was up to his expectations. We tried 4 drops in different depths and areas and had little to no life on them all. Our catch was a total of 5 ling and a couple of bergals and sharks. He fortunately pulled the plug early and discounted the fare for everyone. He canceled todays and future trips for the next two weeks to get some work on the boat done and to take some time off. I was able to fish every week this winter but the time has come to take a saltwater break. I guess I am going to have to try the sweet water until the stripers make a showing.

Yeah I can't agree with you more Eric. I'm going to hit the lakes on my course for those never been hooked before 20 LB. plus Carp. I also like to catch & release on the largemouths that we have here as well quite a few pushing the 5 LB. mark as well.

That is unusual, what happen to all the Ling? Feb. , Mar. last year thats all you read about were are they? Thanks for the honest report Eric
