White perch...
Anyone know of some spots down south jersey that u can catch white perch soon? Never tried focusing on them before...and I have only caught them in hopatcong and a couple of spillways. I have a kayak so if anyone knows of any spots i can dump in that would be great. And of course, i would always fish from shore too. thanks...if anyone has any info...I would appreciate it.

I've never tried for them either, but I hear of them being caught in Deal Lake.

Re: White perch...
Lots of spots in ocean county and even some in tidal waters up north. If you want to pm me. They should be getting active in the next few weeks as waters warm a bit.

Re: White perch...
Collins Cove just south and west of the Mullica River bridge that spans the GSP is a historic hotspot.

Re: White perch...
I saw boats in Collin's Cove and Bass River recently. Perch are schooled up in the Millstone River now. I know a netter who catches perch in Delaware Bay at Thompson's Beach. I caught many perch in a Central NJ lake last month.

Re: White perch...
Millstone River huh? Near the Raritan River? I know those rivers all intersect each other at some point. I am just looking to go out and fish for something, and thought white perch should be starting up soon, and by the sounds of it, it sounds like it's starting in a couple of places. Thanks for the information, and I hope to put some of it to use this weekend.
