Trout by luck
 

Got to the stream right around one today , put my rain jacket on & surprise
Left all my metal home, save one on my rod!
Brutal, anyway decided to give it my best shot, I had a full supply of plugs to back me up.
Well my second fish tagged in a fast water twisted enough to pop my line why trying to move him to quite water for release, can't remember when this happened last, haste cost me the lure !
Big start two nice bows in 30 Mins.
Luckily I had a couple of plugs that were jerk bait sinkers since water was still running well.
Didn't have much faith in these in the heavy water I fish, but
Started off with another bow quickly, however covered a lot more water to get one more. Left early ! Saw two anglers on two streams in two days ! Luv fall & winter troutin'!
Now if I could only give up Toggin, never!


Anyhow plenty of nice bows, all about 16"today !
