I got into about 50 last week w my partner on LH. I fished SR once and it was the worst day fishing ever, 2 dink SM and I drifted herring while casting on 2 rods. Didnt even mark many fish. If you want stripers hit LH and search for a school, I found one past 2 weekends in a row and killed them on herring. I doubt Ill hit SR again honestly the 9.9 restriction sucks too

I'm drifting herring and been having more luck when the sun is high then I am during happy hour. ( sunset till dark) I'm not allowed out after dark so I can't say about that. I think the guys trolling are doing it in the mornings or the middle of the day. Haven't seen any 10 pounders but have got a few pushing 5 20 plus inches.

Bob, thanks for that great deal on the pflueger arbor, got 2 with it this afternoon, that's one sweet reel.
