Passaic - Dundee Lake

Just picked up a 12' jon boat. I know there are alot of folks on the forum who kayak the Dundee Lake area, but would this be a good place to run a jon boat? Any problems with anchoring in the area? Thanks -

I'm up there pretty frequently in the kayak. The main channel is easily navigable but once you get closer to the islands, it's pretty shallow. You'll have to get out and walk the boat in a few areas if you want to fish them. Be prepared to lift your motor as there are shallow rocky spots. Stay near the Garfield side shoreline and you should be ok.
