Wanted: Surf rod
 

Does anyone have a cheap or old surf rod they dont use and are willing to let go? My son wants to fish from the beach as the boat is out of commission and i figured i would ask here first

I got a few laying around, want something big? i got some 11/12 footers and also got i think like an 8 foot ugly stick, i dont use any of them anymore so if you would be interested let me know.

Im in toms river, if he can handle 11-12' i got some really nice okuma solaris rods brand new and never used and never will be used, let them go cheap, like a case of corona. haha

If it is for your kid I have one he can have for $0. It's an older Eagle Claw (think) but works fine and should work great for him. Have a reel somewhere I can give you with it also.

I have a 10-11' (2) piece surf rod that a tenant left. I don't even think it was ever used.

I'm in Bergen co. And as long as it is for a kid i have a free surf set up. It's a wall mart special more or less my "lend out" rod when someone spikes an interest.
The new generation needs a start and free is the best way to start.
