Dropped my son off at hockey practice and hit the South Branch for an hour in Flemington. This 16" bass hit me on the third cast for my first smallie of the season. Couple of nice jumps and pullin' drag. Also CPR'd a 12' brook trout. Lure of the day for me was a 4" plastic worm on a 1/0 hook with no weight.
