Impeller

Changed the impeller on my mercury 3 weeks ago. Had the boat out 6 times since then, running good pissing out water as pure as a mountain stream. Take the boat out tonight not pissing, do a little investigating. I squeeze the hose and a yellow creamy like substance comes out slowly!!! Whats up with that, any ideas fellas? Did i suck some bees or wasps threw the system or something?? Any help/ opinions on this matter will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Impeller

No water in the lower unit. i took the hose off today and discovered a bunch of small green leaves up the hose. conclusion, I do believe some kind of moth or caterpillar was building its nest up my hose. The yellow i squeezed out of the hose last night was what was left of the stupid lil BUG. The leaves I found inside the hose were rolled up perfectly as if they were hand rolled. WEIRD!!!
