Big Passaic River Pike

2 Attachment(s)
A lot of people are shocked that there are pike 36 inches and bigger in the passaic river. I am willing to bet the state record is swimming around somewhere. I just wanted to share with you guys my personal best pike which was 36" inches and very fat I just didn't have scale as well as my buddies which was 42" inches.

These pics are actually from a couple of years ago. They were caught in a very small area where it's tough to cast a lure. We used large shiners. The state record is 46 inches, 30 pounds.

What a toad, how long ago and where do you get big shiners? How big were the shiners?
