D&R Canal: a good place to fish when all other rivers are flooded

fished from 8-11 a.m. at rocky hill. caught 5 bullheads an eel and an accidental carp. using worms, and chicken livers for bait. the water is muddy with some debris, but not very high or swift, certainly fishable unlike the big D or millstone or raritan river.

Good stuff man!! Thanks for the info and the suggestion. Last couple times I've been there there's a shortage of channel cats. LOTS of eels though. Think next time I'm going to go 100% bluegills to keep away the baitsnatchers. Mreow.

yes, it seems the channels are impossible to catch in the last month. :(

went back there this afternoon with just livers. caught about 10 more bullheads and lost a 4 pound channel catfish.
