S. Branch 4/11
 

Hit the S. Branch near Flemington for about 1.5 hrs tonite. Landed 2 nice stock brookies, each about 11-12 inches. Put 'em back in for another day. Caught on a Worden FlatFish lure, silver color. Had another one on that looked a bit bigger but he spit the hook- oh well.

For some reason, about 7:45 pm or so the fish start jumping like crazy and then the bite just DIES. Anyone know why this is? My experience over the past few years is that trout NEVER bite when you see them jumping in groups. Anyone else notice this, or is it just me?
