Storing Rigs

Storing Rigs

Here is a problem we all have had at one time or another, I stumbled upon this in a Dollar Store, a C.D. storage case. These hold 24 C.Ds. I got this idea while tying Tuna Hooks.
I put my rigs into 4x4 4mil. bags, these slide into the slots for the CDs. I can keep different sized hooks rigged for bottom fishing, in one case I will put, lets say 24 Black Fish Rigs, or Sea Bass & Ling Rigs mixed.

I hope it helps at least one of you, I know it's helping me.:)

Thanks for reading Richie

Hi Richie,

Where can I get some of those 4x4 bags? This looks like a great idea.

Thanks,

Eric

You know using those bags isn't an awful idea. I gotta do a McMaster order at some point this week think I'll get some of those.

Been using these for years. Stores rigs, soft plastics, etc. They've been soaked, sun baked, frozen, etc and still work just fine after years of abuse. Do need to replace a few bags but overall they have held up great.

I checked out the McMaster site, they don't seem to show you what the shipping charges are?! Not before or after the sale? They just state that shipping and taxes will be added??

McMaster charges based on weight I believe. We have a corporate account with them and they don't actually ship to us, they have a driver bring the stuff at the end of the business day. I assume most people here who use them regularly are set up like that. You can call them though, they are VERY helpful.
