question for optimax owners...
 

I have an 06' 175 hp Merc optimax and I am finding salt deposits inside on the back of the engine. I took the cowling off and inspected it... no leaks I could see, no salt deposits around the air intakes... I periodically spray the engine down yet the back of the engine continues to get salt deposits on it. Anyone ever have this problem? Any info would be greatly apprechiated.
