terryaki fluke
had a coupon for lawry's marinades in the paper and it was on sale at SR so picked up a couple of bottles. (yeah i'm lazy, and cheap)
had fluke from sat's netkeeper trip :D cut filets into "medallions" (i used the filet from the 6#er, half the fish) in a glass bowl- half a bottle of marinade, i added a couple table spoons of soy sauce and about a 1/2 cup white wine to thin out the marinade. add fish and let sit for an hour or two. cook over med high heat in a non-stick pan (i use the spray instead of oil- helps keep the splatter down) cook about 2-3 minutes a side (don't know how thick your filets will be, mine were cut no bigger than 1/2" at most) turn them over gently as they will start to flake- cook till they are just barely cooked through fish was nice and moist, any left over marinade you can cook out and use as a sauce serve with rice and a green veg and you are good to go! |
