Blackfish rigs

I want to tie my own blackfish rigs. What size hooks and how heavy of leader do I need ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Re: Blackfish rigs

I suggest 50 lb or 60 lb leader.

I like Fluorocarbon. Guys still use plain mono.

Hooks: 4/0 or 5/0 SSW Octopus Owner brand.

Gamakatsu and VMC are also very good.
