Caught 15 fish while ultralight jigging
 

My friend Big John and his wife Ellen caught two striped bass each this morning while plugging the surf. Saw birds and boats 🛥️ offshore and surf and jetty fishermen on the Manasquan Beach cam. I went ultralight jigging in 48.5 degrees Carnegie Lake this afternoon on a cloudy ☁️, cold day with little wind 💨. Only saw 3 fishermen. Caught 3 black crappies to 9” and 12 white perch to 9” with a 1/32 oz tube jig on 2 lb test line and Walmart red worms 🪱 on 4 lb test line. The resident great blue heron was in my fishing 🎣 spot when I arrived and still there when I left after 6:30 PM. I was the last fisherman to leave. Fish 🐠 were swirling. Geese, ducks 🦆, cormorants, blackbirds 🐦*⬛,robins and gulls were flying. Took pictures.
