Late season carp and catfish
 

Went to Colonial Lake and people were in my fishing 🎣 spot. The parking lot was overflowing at the Millstone River but I found a parking spot. Went carping in the 57.9 degrees Millstone River on the north shore in Plainsboro, NJ, yesterday evening on a warm, sunny ☀ day with a light northwest wind 💨. Threw out Walmart canned whole kernel corn 🌽 for chum, then caught two brown bullheads and a 22” 6 lb 3 oz common carp with corn bait. A drone and drone operator were nearby. Canadian Canada geese, ducks 🦆, great blue heron and lots of cormorants were flying. Two muskrats swam upstream at dusk. A few fish were jumping. Nine fishermen were on the dam and Aqueduct.

Maybe the answer to SNAP benefits would be teach people how to hunt and fish.
