Back out on the striper grounds today. Slow pick for us today. Bait pods were not gathered up this am where we had them yesterday. took a ride to look for the jig fish. Found some breaking up top bass and bluefins but tough to catch, picked a few right away then traffic got heavy. Took a ride back to the bait, came together a bit but fish were not in them. Headed back to the jig fish with livebaits saw decent readings just couldn’t get em going. Birds popped up as the South wind came on strong and had a few shots on jigs to end the day with some keepers and overs in the mix to 42” . Today’s crew fished hard thank you guys. We will be back at it tomorrow, sailing 6am. Book online or come on down. Going to focus on bunker pods tomororw with the west wind 👍
