Conestoga-Penns Creek-Raritan river 10/24-26/25:
 

I won a free trip from a Veterans FB page to an Airbnb in Lancaster Pa.

10/24: Did some scouting on the Conestoga river, interesting to see a fish ladder pretty much in the middle of Pa. Didn't do much facing the same conditions as NJ, very low and clear. The river reminded me of the South branch in a way, seems like they have a healthy SMB population in there. Spent some time scouting the river then visited my old home in Shillington Pa.

10/25: Used my location to spring board out to Penns Creek, knew it would be bad but it was really bad, hardly any creek at all, we really need rain !! Drove back along the Susquehanna, saw guys launching boats but all I really saw was a boulder field with some water here and there.

10/26: Back to work on home waters. Saw a few anglers at Nevius St in Raritan Borough. Pulled garbage in Somerville and Manville.

All of my road trips have been a bust. The UDR in the spring was a bust, tried wading the Lehigh again, that was a bust, fished Penns and that was a bust. My best fishing has been close to home on the N and S branch as well as the main stem this past summer.
