I was fortunate enough to grow up in an era of muscle cars ! Love them all but Big Block Chevys are special to me .This is my 69 Chevelle !

That is one bad ass ride!
Give some details……what have you done to it? Engine, suspension exhaust? |

The engine is dressed like a big block 396 but in reality it's a 461 . I changed from dished pistons to flat top , aluminum intake, holley carb , comp cams camshaft, 1 3/4 inch headers ,heads were redone etc., etc, etc. Really to much to list .I've been playing with it for years a little at a time . I've always been on a budget . You can see more of it at DanHealy/Everything Outdoors on You Tube. Thanks so much for watching and the kind words . American Muscle Cars have always been in my blood ! |
Re: "AMERICAN MUSCLE" !
Just watched some of your vids. Very cool.
Love the NOCO jumper. Use it at work a ton and has no problem cranking over diesels on a cold morning. You ever run the Chevelle down the 1/4? Curious what it would turn time wise. |
Re: "AMERICAN MUSCLE" !
Thank you !
Yes that jumper is very impressive . Anyone That spends anytime in the backwoods should consider one of these .It has saved the day for me and family members a few times. I have planned on running the Chevelle a few times only to ave something come up.I did play around with a new Challenger on the street and surprisingly walked away from him convincingly .Those new muscle-cars run real well.I've built and raced cars before and although I didn't build this one for that it can sure hold it's own . I do plan on taking it to Island Dragway now that Atco and Englishtown are gone . So stay tuned in to see the results . Dan |
