Candidate for NJ Governor Talks about Stripers, Hunting

He claims that too many outdoorsmen dont vote? Is that true? This fellow does appear to be on our side and it would be a shame if people did not get out and vote. https://youtu.be/VPnPfbASYcc?si=jrQvbujN9b126gdO&t=102

All Murphy knew was concrete, asphalt and giving stuff away to inner city people. Jack actually knows what a trout is !!

Look, we have massive problems here in rural upstate NY, because we have the city hung around our necks, even though our wants, needs, desires, are radically different from NYC people.. So really, I am in poor position to give advice.. I would just suggest that NJ voters get to know what the candidates stand for, and vote accordingly.. The more the candidate makes promises to voters that don't pay property taxes, get their food with SNAP, and live almost free in Section 8 housing, the more you want to learn about him/her. NY and NJ voters that own homes, pay big property and school taxes, always seem to get outvoted by the "free stuff' citizens in the cities..Lets hope Jersey picks correctly for a change... bob

Murphy came to "South Jersey" once, talked about fires, I think that was it. Never did I hear that man utter such woods as hunting, fishing, trapping, river, lake, stream, etc etc.

And just how does he know that? LOL You can tell a politician is lying because his lips are moving.

Does he know a Shimano from a Matsui? LMAO Details details details. Separates BS'ers from good liars. :)

Its a know problem with hunters and gun owners. They dont register to vote as much as other people. I dont understand it but one of the guys in the podcast said he was guilty of it until he realized you have to be in it to win it.

Who cares, are you one of those people who want your political leaders to be just like you? What's more important - that the governor knows about hunting and trapping personally, or he/she supports policies that keep our land/water clean, and punish polluters and listens to good science when it comes to conservation?

How about they actually understand its economic impact . This last administration didn’t do anything to improve neither hunting or fishing in this state .
Actually decreased its allocations .
Reef program became a total stand still . Only deployments were donated ones
.
Took 8 years to finally replace the recreational members on the marine council etc .

Others states lobbying to effect our quotas etc .

Only way change will ever happen is if they have a vested interest .

.
