Raritan river/South branch 6/29/25:
 

6/29/25: Air 86*F P. Cldy.- Water 80* @296CFS . Better visibility today so I couldn't resist taking a walk at Duke Park in Manville. Walked up river and pulled 3 tires in short order. There were more on the lower end but I can't walk down river and drag tires up river, that is just too strenuous. Ran over to Studdiford on the South branch and did better than expected in the gin clear water. River edges were choked with baitfish along with tadpoles and large crayfish. Normally I would take the tires with me and pay for disposal but I no longer have my pick up so it would be a PIA in the CRV. Hopefully local DPW can collect and dispose of them.

Your town recycling center should take the tires. South Brunswick does.
