First Trip of the Season!
 

Left the barn to calm seas. It was a perfect day to go fishing even saw whales and dolphins on the way out. Fished a few #'s on rough bottom and had a good pick all day of sea bass, fluke and ling. 6" gulp on a chicken rig did the trick! None of the bizkits we kept where under 13".
All and all it was a good shakedown trip! The fishing is pretty good right now. It's a good time to go out and catch some up! Tight Lines.

Great catch! If you couldn’t enjoy yourself out there today; you can’t enjoy yourself. If was beautiful. Glad your shakedown worked out!!

Late start? Was talking to Sean and Chet and they were saying how weird of season it’s been as everyone has had a late start.

Yes it was a late start for me with my boat. I had to get some work done to my boat and that takes awhile and I still have some work to do. Nothing major just time consuming. I'm pretty much good to go now!

Good to hear ya ready to roll. Shocked to see so many racks and slips still waiting for boats.
