Blood worms ??
 

Does anyone know of a shop that will have bloodworms in stock for the 3/1 striper season start. Preferably in the Keyport, Highlands, Sayreville area.

Pete at Atlantic Bait (Hwy 36 in Middletown) tends to stay pretty well stocked with them. Edit: Not 100% if he'll be open by then yet. Sorry!

Atlantic bait and tackle has blood worms in stock. We are now open for the season. Hours are from 6 am to 2 PM. We will adjust more hours on March 10th.

I’d check Keyport Marine Basin—they usually have bloodworms this time of year, especially with striper season kicking off. If they’re out, Fishermen’s Den in Belmar might be worth a shot. I’ve had good luck there in the past, though it’s a bit of a drive from the area you mentioned.
