PROWLER5 - OCT. 27TH - STRIPED BASS REPORT
 

Hey gang we sailed with a baker's dozen for customers and had a pretty good day with the stripers right in our own backyard not too far from the dock. Tim and Travis father and son from Sussex NJ had their limit and won the pool with a 16lb bass. Larry Love from South Carolina caught and released some big bass fishing with live bunkers that we snagged for bait. Most of the fish were caught on the shads today with a fair amount of keepers and slot fish at (24-28") that we have bonus tags for. We probably let go about 3 dozen. It was a fun day on the water except for all the boat traffic. But that's to be expected with the great fishing in our bay and the nice warm weather for this time of the year. Sailing everyday now 7:30am to 2:30pm for STRIPED BASS. The fare is $90 and we have brand new spinning rods for rent for $10. Open boat or you can call for reservations at 732-245-6514.
