Turnmill Pond
5 Attachment(s)
Went ultralight jigging in 52 degree Turnmill Pond this evening on a warm, sunny day with a strong south wind. Saw another fisherman catch and release a few fish. I caught and released 8 pickerel to 14” and a 12” yellow perch with a black 1/8 oz leadhead jig and 2” black twister tail on 4 lb test line. Saw a flock of ringneck ducks, mallards, wood ducks, Canada geese, great blue heron, belted kingfisher, vultures, doves, and crows. Took pics. Heard spring peepers the last two evenings. Didn’t lose a lure during my last two fishing trips.

Re: Turnmill Pond
sounds of spring , nice. been hearing the spring peepers myself.
Can Mark really call a 12 inch perch a dink?... I wonder what the verdict is. Technically small fish but... a biggun for a perch  :D |
