Ice fishing after the rain
 

Edges were a little iffy Saturday after the rain, but the main ice was still a very solid 4" so we got back on the ice fishing!

numbers wise, it was significantly slower saturday through monday, but the quality was definitely there! The big crappie came through on glow jigs as it got dark and some quality green carp fell victim to tip ups, including one monstah. My buddy even got a nice little smallie! I still couldn't find a good gill bite, but i did get one rouge slab sunny in with the crappie before it got really dark haha.

Still waiting for Squatch to get on the board this year... someone check on him, he's 5 citations and a panfish slam behind already :D ;)

Hey those bass look like they have been eating well the crappies are good size too nice to see you guys are doing well and your still dry thank god. The temps are looking better this weekend but i am out of sage and i have to get new feathers so i can continue the dancing. the main part of the cong is still open and with the wind at night it is going to be tough to lock up out there, the state park and some of the coves held ice after that rain so lets keep our fingers crossed that it does not warm up any time soon.

There should def be more options soon, but apparently February is going to be warmer than average...whatever that means :mad:

I'd say all the pics are pretty stellar! Nice frozen bag right there! Still waiting to hit the hardwater myself this year. Not too many options just yet.
