10/18 Report.......

To say we sucked today is an understatement! WE SUCKED:p.

Left later than usual due to marina issues. Worked bunker in close, then made our way steadily north to the promised land that we can’t take pics of :p

Acres and acres of bunker. Covered an S-load of water and just couldn’t get anything going. Made it up to the Brooklyn Bridge , Lady Liberty, both stanchions of the VZ, Robbins, around Hoffman and Swinburne, West Bank and I can go on and on...... zip. Good readings nothing doin.

Managed 2 cocktails on the flats in Belford before the fan turned on at 11 am.

Dragged bunker strips and chunks up north, threw shads everywhere else.

Water 63 pretty much everywhere we went. Lotta widow makers out there today.... keep an eye out. Be safe boys

Wasn't fishing yesterday - just riding with the better half. The ride home was a little wet! Boy did that change fast.

Did see the whole gang in the promised land just off Governor's Island.

Ditto for us, tons of bunker, good readings, nothing on them. After the wind kicked up, we tried dunking clams around the rockpiles in the back of the bay. Nobody home except for tiny dogfish.
Like Duffman said, there was a lot of floating debris, logs and whatnot.
