PB at Assunpink
 

Fished Assunpink today in the kayak. Got 3 bass and 4 yellow perch. This was the biggest of the day and the biggest I have ever caught. A boat near by let me use his scale it weighed 2-11. I thought it was bigger, but I’m glad I was able to weigh it. A 5 lb bass must be amazing. I caught it on a Texas rigged worm. Definitely loving the kayak and bass fishing. Not missing the salt as much as I thought I would.

congrats on a nice pb lmb keep at it you will get a bigger one. that fish has a cool spot on its tail i have seen some other photos of bass on here with similar spots not that common to see spots on the tails like that.:cool:

Thanks a lot everyone! I’m glad I had it weighed, I could have sworn it was 5lbs!
The hit was so light I thought maybe a perch was tapping it, but when I set the hook it came straight up out of the water. Gonna keep tryin for bigger ones for sure!!
