Ramapo Report 5/6
 

Decided to finally get out and try for trout today. Got to my spot in Mahwah around 1230 not a soul in site. Water was up but fishable. This is a spot that is off the beaten path and typically benefits from TU spreading the fish around. Fished for 3.5 hours with a limit plus, far from any great bite, had to work for what I caught. Pink eggs, worms and spinners. All cookie cutter bows but one real nice fish in the 18 inch range, great fight in strong current and I fish I swear I caught twice last year. :confused: Nice to be out.
