creek smallmouth and trout
 

the fair-weather got my dad to come out for some trout fishing, he got two nice wild browns. I think the only two browns he's caught in years. (When are they going to stock browns again? - him every two weeks :p )

I also did some SMB fishing now that temps are higher.

Plenty of them biting, not very shallow tho all were in some average depth rather than their summer-bank-beatup mood. I didnt hook into any big ones, although a giant one surely followed one of the smb I hooked. Almost to the net! until it 180'd and swam back. Must have been 19+ inches

I had also caught a brown trout while in one of my favorite SMB spots. Nice to see one all the way down here, in forbidden trout territory, swimming with the carp and bass :cool: :D

The SMB bite is just getting started! Gonna be lots of bigger ones on the prowl in the shallows soon :D nice pictures man, glad to see your dad came out with you too!
