No luck trout
 

Went back to the same local spot that I went to on Saturday. I practically had the whole lake to myself. I made about 10,000 casts with the spinner that worked last time, but no love for me. I tried the Berkeley mice tails and had a couple nibbles but nothing solid. I ordered some garlic flavored power bait that seemed to be working well for people on Saturday. If it's here by tomorrow, I will try again on Thursday. If that doesn't work, I might try another spot. I am in Essex County, so if anybody has a recommendation for a trout shore spot please feel free to PM me. Thanks in advance.

darn :( maybe the birds got to all of em. i heard the rahway river has good #s of trout around still.
