R.I.P. Norma Keller:

4 Attachment(s)
We come to you with a heavy heart to say the one and only Norma E. Keller has sadly passed away. She was a true legend to the fishing community along with her husband, Capt. Kenneth J. Keller. Everyone that has met her can surely attest to her love of her boat and her fond memories of growing up down at the dock in Point Pleasant, N.J, as well as her heart of gold! She was the type of lady who always took the time to chat and tell you a story of years gone by as well as listening to anything you cared to share with her.

Her life was dedicated to turning the Norma K fleet into something to be proud of. She is known up and down the east coast as a pillar in the fishing business. She leaves behind her two beautiful grand daughters, who brought her so much joy, and her daughter Sharon.

We ask in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Norma's name to the Point Pleasant Boro first aid squad.

Next time you have something sweet, whether its a cookie or milkshake, raise it up in remembrance of our beloved Norma! She loved her sweets!!!

Services will be held in private unfortunately due to COVID 19.

We love you and will miss you every day!

Capt. Matt, Crew and Family of the Norma K III

Spent quite a few summer days hanging out at the marina with my friend and Tom and his step father Dick Kuhn who ran the Norma K II. I would often see both Ken and Norma walking around talking to people. They always took the time to talk to people. I thought Ken was a pretty cool guy also.

RIP Norma. Our best thoughts and condolences to the family
Cut my teeth on that boat in my teens and still do.when time allows. Spoke with Norma often on my fundraisers and in general about the PB Fleet.
Great boat , great service and better people all around. Capt Ken always came down and spoke with us and once gently LOL removed a blackfish hook from my finger!

I've fished NK3 many many times and when Capt.Matt pulled the boat back into the slip nine times out of ten Capt. Ken and Norma would be there waiting to see how the trip went. They would always walk around and talk to the people. They understood that the people made the boat good. Since Capt Ken passed late last year she understandably just wasn't the same. God rest their soles. They entertained the fishing community for many years. RIP
