Anybody interested in reliving the glory of 2014 with another season smallmouth contest. Shotgun start when stay at home order is lifted until Nov 1st? Whose game?

If there was a contest it wouldn’t be a season long contest. It would have to be a short duration event. Long events have went south in the past with people disappearing and not updating leader boards. If you plan on running a contest you need to stay on top of it from start to finish. There’s basically only one guy that’s ran contests here and stayed on top them from start to finish......that would be ME!:D

There doesn’t need to be an actual contest with prizes, we can make it this thread, all smallmouth, with measurements like the last contest, strictly for bragging rights on NJ Fishing. We would need to have a secret item like last time to make sure pics are current.

Just my $0.02, lengthy contests always seem to fizzle out, on this site and elsewhere. All the bronze-chasers on here are going to do their thing, catch their fish, and post their photos anyway, so no real need for a contest.

Now if you wanted to organize a smallmouth M&G (tournament or not), I'm sure a lot of guys would totally be down for that, myself included.

Tjc76....you haven’t posted here since 2017 from what I can see! Don’t start a fire you can’t maintain! I do like your recommendation, but please ohhhhhh please, tell me! What have you caught lately?

Just this cookie cutter smallie. I don’t get to fish much because I work about 90 hours a week, but it is my passion. I rarely have a report to post because of work, wife, and kids, but if anything, smallies really get me going!
