Back at it! Round 2!
 

Picked up where I left off..... I got a few trips in last few days before I head back to work tomorrow . Switched gears and tried lookin for a Raritan River striper but came up empty I did stick a random Raritan river pike. He smacked a stickbait and went about 32-35”! Ish...

Today I took advantage of opening day trout. Started up north at my favorite little stream in nj plenty of fish around. Alotttttt of small 9-11”. Powercheese, spinners, and plugs all worked. Hit up the north branch later in the day and cleaned up again fun day of c & r. I got the boat out for a few hours back at the valley and it sucked! Wind kicked up started white capping and I got outta there, one decent laker for the short time I was there.... stay safe guys! After this war is over we’re all gonna have to get to get together and have a few beers and bbq or something....

By the way here’s my buddy Joey biggest trout he’s ever caught... nice 4lb bow released for someone else to catch....

Nice, i think ive caught more than 10 species from the raritan yet have never turned out with a pike yet, no doubt the ones that do turn up are well fed and big :D
