Happy Thanksgiving

Just wanted to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving from me and my family to your and yours..

I'm really thankful and proud of the community we have here and all the great sponsors and people who make this site what it is and afforded me the opportunity to work and socialize with you all...

Not sure about you but this site feels like home to me and all of you are like family. Sure, occasionally we fight, kid and bicker but that's family and I'm grateful for you.

My heartfelt thanks to all who contribute and visit here.

Right now it's time for me to focus on the task at hand... Making Gerry's famous Apple Pie and preparing the Turkey that I'll smoke for the first time ever so wish me luck!

Happy Thanksgiving to all you you NJFers!!

Smoked turkey. mmmmmmm.
I would like to deep fry one someday, but a good friend burned his back porch down doing it one year, so i just throw it in the oven to be safe..

Plain old turkey breast this year for us, I have 4 sons, but 2 are 1200 miles away, one is going to his mother in laws, and only one is coming here.. I do envy you guys with a full house during the holidays,, We had it for a long time, but my " kids" are grown men in their 40's and late 30's and are no longer around the area .
Enjoy it while it lasts !

Yes, I do enjoy this forum, and yes I am thankful for it, and its many members.. Haven't yet met even one of you that I'm aware of, but who knows that may change.
However, the personalities, the intellect, knowledge , and enthusiasm of our membership often manifests itself right through the PC screen, and I really do feel the kinship.. Happy Thanksgiving to all, and to your loved ones as well.

mmm smoked turkey...... bob

And a Very Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours !

So many years here and I still stop by every day to see what I have missed. :) I hope to be doing that for many years to come.

Thank you for providing the format.

Bob I'm sure all 4 of your sons are there in spirit and thinking about you throughout the Holiday Season. Good stuff, there comes a time for our kids to spread their wings and I couldn't agree more for those with children, enjoy it while it lasts. In hindsight they grow up quickly. The house gets very quiet when they finally move out so treasure ever moment when they're around even if at times it feels like mass chaos!

Happy Thanksgiving my friend.......best to you and your family!

Gerry, thank you for the good wishes and thoughtful comments. I check the site every morning to see if anything was missed and enjoy the interaction from the members.
Got some heart issues that need to be addressed next week but will be back with my Cajun red in the spring, Rammie
