Report: night eel trip back Raritan bay 10-119

Did a night eel trip out of Keyport last night. Heading out towards Perth Amboy and the light house to find no luck. Drifted the eels around from 9pm till around 2am with not so much as a tap. Was certainly disappointed, hoped to find something.

Marked a lot of scattered bait but no marks of bigger striper.

Might be a bit early and waters are probably a bit warm yet although some sharpies have been on them all summer...

BTW - First Striper ever caught on my boat was back in the late 80s at the South Amboy Light when I had my first boat docked at Morgan Marina... As luck would have my wife caught it.
