8/1 and 8/2 Baseball Bat Whiting Beat Down
 

I had the pleasure of having NJfishing.com member Bob Morell on a back to back charter on Eastmans Annie B Six Packs

Besides Haddock, Pollock, Cusk and Ling we hammered the biggest kind of King Whiting & Plenty of them

We had big Numbers of HUGE Whiting both days up to 5 lbs

2 great days of fishing. Ballbat Whiting, Ling, Haddock, Pollack, Cusk. Cooler fillers. It's getting better everyday. Eastman's runs open boat Whiting every Tuesday. Now's the Time! I'll be back in September for 2 more trips!

On to the 8/2 Report

We fished for Haddock for 4 hours and it was a slow pick 4 to 6 Keepers per Angler. A Few nice Pollock and some very big Cusk. Then we switched over to Whiting and Ling and it was game on immediatly. Mostly 1 to 3 lb Whiting and fast and furious fishing. We made a little wiggle and it was a beatdown with many Whiting hitting the 4 and 5 lb mark up to 28 inches. True Louville Sluggers
