Late fly report
 

We headed out yesterday morning to try and get some fluking in on a blazing hot day. Confined were pretty good with a slight Westerly breeze. Fluke would not cooperate, caught about twenty shorts and no keepers. On a different note will killed the black flys must of had already 40 dead. Sadly that was the high now of the day.

Catching 20+ fish sounds like a they cooperated to me? Great catching.

I have never had so many flies in the boat.
My legs were shiny with deep woods off and they bit right thru it.

Columbia and Ex Officio and several others make bug repellent pants. The pants are light nylon and dry quickly. It also makes it hard for bugs to bite your legs because they are pants and not shorts. Nothing worse than flies biting your ankles when you are trying to bring in a fish and for some reason they always go for my ankles and calves. .

Not enough deet in deep woods. Try muskol or anything 100% deet. Or wear light pants like mentioned.

Yep any wind direction with west in it and you’re gonna have flies...
