7/4 Report.....
 

My usual late start on a day off.....got on the water after the fog lifted.

Decided to try something different so drifted the skinny water from the Tip to the Bridge inside of the Hook. Surprised at the lack of traffic on a holiday.

Bounced small BT's, plain jane rigs w/ spearing and gulp swimming minnows. All caught shorts equally well. Didnt get a fish over 16" all afternoon

Closer to the bridge we got the more salad we hooked. Found a nice little rockpile in 5 FOW that put some hurting on the gelcoat.

!/2 day boats working officers row late afternoon. Bunker again stacked from Belford channel and west. Surface temps shot up to 75 with this recent weather.

Yeah man.....just wanted to investigate some new turf that I havent tried since before Sandy. Lets just say the ride will be good til the end of the season but some fiberglass and stainless work are in my future.....:p
