Father's Day Bass
 

Hey all. It has been well documented my struggles with getting my boat in shape and last week the failures of my battery. I had to make a decision of using my Father's Day time of going on shore and catching a bunch of dinks or go buy a new battery and try for some quality. With baby number 2 due in a couple weeks and not much time to fish upcoming, I took Chrisper's advice, ran and took a shot with a battery from walmart and headed out this morning. Couple of hours in, seemed like a bad decision. By 930, all the other boats were loading up and i was thinking of staging up to be next. Then this lovely Larry hit like a tank and gave me the best fight a bass ever has. Never had a bass take multiple dives for the lettuce after getting them to the surface. Even managed to give me a nice run under the boat. She convinced me to stay a couple more hours but she remained my only and that was perfectly fine. Tight lines gents

i think that larry gave you more of a fight because it was fathers day and from your report it did not disappoint you. nice fish being the only one for the day.
