Shark River Wednesday

Had a short window to fish the balance of the outgoing. Left the dock @7:40 to a beautiful drift in shorts and tees and started 100 feet from the dock. Water temp. 63.2, sunny and low 70's. Picked away at some shorts, and a keeper. 8:30 wind shifted from the west to the east. 8:40 what a change.

What had been a beautiful drift became no drift, air temp. dropped 15 -20 degrees in 10 minutes, Caught 2 more keepers and everyone was frozen, called it a day @9:40. Many that had run outside came running back in, wind was 15 -20 out of the east.

Hope this weather pattern changes, tired of to much wind, to much like the beginning of last year.

Henry

Thanks for the report. I fish the same area from a Kayak and haven't been out yet this year. Hopefully can give it a shot this weekend.
