IGNORED But real RFI from LED lights
Article in one the commercial magazines about the USCG investigating.
Seems that the proliferation of LED lights that emit Radio Frequency Interference ("RFI") is becoming a bigger and bigger concern for interference with instrumentation including received VHF signals with the more LEDS one uses. They suggested you have the LEDs all on and then turn them all off to notice the effect. I have noticed it does induce status in FM radio reception. The lighting LED's and proximity to receiver the worst the interference. Anyone notice it? |
Re: IGNORED But real RFI from LED lights
I have a little different circumstance. I have LED headlight for my work. When I key my work radio my headlight will come on our blink. Kind of seems that there is some sort our interaction with the LEDs
