Channels cats, and a bunch of them up to 30+inches and 12 pounds. This was plan B fishing at its finest. The Walleye wouldn’t cooperate but myself and Mikey found the absolute Motherload of hungry cats. There was almost a fish on every cast. It was nuts! And on ultra lite Walleye rods it was a friggin trip. Double headers and bent rods made up for a waste of time driving Saturday morning. God damn government shut down! What a mess!!! TIGHT LINEZ!!!:D

Nice cats, guess that action kept u warm. Seems to be clockwork that they bite in very cold water? Remember similar reports last winter.

Sweet. Nice job on the kitties. I too am am looking for a winter walley. No luck yet. Did get a mess of yellow perch and a couple of tank smallies from a new spot I prospected. Gonna try again tomorrow if the wifey let's me out of the house.
