Silver Lake At Hamburg WMA
 

Hi All!

Was looking for a new place to launch a kayak for some LMB. Silver lake at Hamburg WMA looks interesting. I see its stocked with trout but i was wondering if anyone has had any luck with LMB there? I fished the healthy vegetation from the shore once, but came up empty. Any bass here? Thanks in advance!

I ice fished it once last winter so I am by no means an expert on the place, but deepest water I could find was about 8ft. Lots of weeds, some rocks. Deepest water is near the dam as it usually is.

Been there a few times fishing from the large rock opposite of the entrance. It's quite weedy and I've had little luck there. The bridge in Hampton on the Paulinskill lake gets some kayakers and has done better for me. Also try Lake Aeroplex if you have not already.
