Point Pleasant canal report

I fished the high slack and an hour into the ebb today. I caught 4 short Blackfish and a 17 inch Fluke on green crabs. One of the togs was a near keeper and I had alot of bites. It should be good there in a few weeks.

I’ll add to this report - fishing the canal late last night for the last hr incoming to 1 houring our going.. tossed eels and caught only bluefish. Left when I was out of bait.. tried swimshads but no dice. Did observe a tremendous amount of mullet pushing out.
