NYC Sportfishing Friday 8-24
 

Have been reading striped bass reports lately. So hooked up with fishing buddy Tom Kaye and headed out with Capt Steve. Started kind of slow as the tide was changing,but an hour in......game on. Fished for 4 hours, had 18 keepers a few shorts and called it a day, Only keeping our limit. If anyone is looking for a great striper trip in August it was memorable. I think the bad part of the trip was when Capt. Steve said that it was one of his slow trips lately. 1st class operation. Tried to upload pictures, not happening. Maybe Tom can.

I am technologically challenged too Bob. Thankfully Capt Steve texted a couple pictures to me. I can’t post them.
A great trip. Seems like bigger fish turned on in middle of tide.
We had already filled our boat limit with good eating linesiders.
I’m convinced more than one or two of the cows we released at boatside were “overs”.
Can’t wait to do it again soon with Capt.Steve.

Glad you were able to get out TK. The blind squirrel strikes again! Sounds like a fantastic trip. Congrats !!
